Structural Integration - The Boulder Mandala Community Center"When the body gets working appropriately, the force of gravity can flow through. Structural Integration is beneficial to many. This effective way to relieve pain, chronic stress, and improve performance in day-to-day activities, and improve postural and spinal issues. Research indicates that Structural Integration improves the use of muscles, allows the body to conserve energy, and creates more economical and refined patterns of movement. Through the 10-series, each part of the body is worked through hands on manipulation of the myofascial system, creating alignment form head to toe. Sessions typically last one hour, with a specific focus or theme. Structural Integration is deep effective bodywork that brings one into there body with a higher awareness and experience. It is most effective to set up sessions 1-2 weeks apart so the body has time in between sessions to integrate and continue the unwinding process outside of the office. Educational pieces are given during sessions to help the client support the alignment process.
