Qigong

All classes utilize a combination of gentle movement, attention to breath and visualization practice to access the vibratory nature of our Being, and then to cultivate (gong) that life-force energy (qi).

Level 1 -- Warm-up sequence plus work with the twelve main meridians:

  •  Healing Sounds - a basic Taoist purification practice
  •  Inner Smile - to calm the mind, bring balance & healing to the body, and activate the five-element correspondences
  •  Fusion Of The Five Elements - to transmute toxic/stagnant emotional energy into the clarified energy of the virtues (the natural state of the organ systems)

Level 2 -- Warm-up sequence plus work with the eight extraordinary meridians:

  •  Micro-Cosmic Orbit - Ren & Du Meridians
  •  Entering the Central Channel - Chong Meridian
  •  Spiraling Up & Down - Dai Meridian
  •  Macro-Cosmic Orbit - Yin Wei, Yang Wei, Yin Qiao, Yang Qiao Meridians

All classes are drop-in though the practices listed above will be presented sequentially, over the coarse of a number of weeks (i.e. the content of the individual classes will vary from week to week).
